Modi establishes groundwork stone of Ken-Betwa stream connecting project; hails Ambedkar's vision

Head of the state Narendra Modi on Wednesday (December 25, 2024) blamed Congress for disregarding Dr B.R. Ambedkar's commitment to the advancement of water assets in the country as he established the groundwork stone of the Ken-Betwa stream connecting project in Madhya Pradesh.

Talking at the program at Khajuraho, Mr. Modi likewise expressed that in the 21st hundred years, just the countries with satisfactory and all around oversaw water assets can progress.

The PM's remarks came in the midst of the contention over Association Home Priest Amit Shah's comments about Ambedkar and the Resistance Congress' cross country fights over the issue.


Ambedkar's vision and farsightedness contributed altogether to the fortifying of the nation's water assets, their administration and dam development, Mr. Modi said.
